So today's post is going to be a review of a product that I have been using for awhile now so I feel I can give you my honest thoughts.
Today’s
review is a company called E.L.F or Eyes, Lips and Face cosmetics. So let's start with talking about the company. ELF is an affordable cosmetic line. You can find them online and in walmart, target, walgreens, and several other stores. Most of there cosmetics vary in price from 1.00 to 8.00 with palettes being around 10.00. They have two basic lines the essential line which all the products are in white packaging. And the studio line which is in all black packaging. They have come out with a face cleansing line, and a bare line. (Not sure much about these other lines but hope too soon). Ok now that we have discussed the company. I usually only order off their website. I have had no issues with doing that, the customer service is amazing i had two products that came broken and they replaced them very quickly. Ok now onto the actual product that is the focus for this review. Their cream eyeliner. Ok I had never used cream
eyeliner before but I have used a lot of different eyeliner. So I knew the look I wanted to achieve. When I put on makeup I will
usually used eyeliner and mascara only.
But bear in mind I am not an expert this is my opinion.
When I
got my ELF order in the mail I was very excited about the eyeliners. I got four
different ones. The cream one I got in Black, it came with a little brush which
I was pleased about. Looking at the container it didn’t look that big, it had a
lot of product in it though.
I
applied the eyeliner and bear in mind the brush that it came with did not
create a thin line, I was not bothered at all by this because I like my
eyeliner to be thicker. It went on smooth and once it was set it did not smear.
This does not state that it is water proof so keep this in mind if you’re
considering purchasing this. It comes in an array of colors on the ELF website.
I really like the dramatic look it gave me and I have purchased this in the teal tease, and the punk purple as well. The teal is a vibrant blue color and its very pretty on the eye but it did not set like the black did and it flaked off badly. The purple is really dark almost black. This one to flaked badly as well. So i would highly recomend the black liner but not so much the colored ones. Thanks again ladies feel free to comment if you have tried this liner. If there is
something you would like to be reviewed please let me know. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time.
