Handbook for the recently deceased makeup palette

So, I was watching YouTube and I really enjoy watching makeup reviews especially inexpensive make up. I enjoy this because I feel like it’s makeup, that I could maybe buy and use someday. I saw a woman reviewing a very unique palette. Her YouTube name is nerdy girl Makeup. (I will leave the link at the bottom of the post so you can check her out) I just ran across her and started watching because of this palette. I have since subscribed and really enjoy her tutorials and reviews you should check her out. Any way back to the topic at hand. She was reviewing this palette that was based on the beetle juice movie. I am a huge fan of anything Halloween. So, I decided that I needed this palette in my life. So, this journey took me to my local Mall. Because this palette can only be found at Hot Topic in the Mall.
Now for any one that knows me knows that I am not the biggest fan of the mall. But I felt I would make an exception to have this palette in my life. So, I went to Hot Topic and was so surprised at all the makeup selections that they had. I found this palette I was so excited that I was able to buy it, it was the last one they had in stores. It was 16.90 which wasn’t terrible expensive. So, I checked the palette before buying it which, I highly recommend just so you’re not buying something broken. So, I got the Palette home and couldn’t wait to try it out, I swatched it first just to get a feel for the formula. It felt pretty smooth however I am not a professional by any means so I may not really know. But it felt pretty good to me. the palette is shaped like the book from beetle juice, which was very iconic for those of you that have seen the movie. The weight of this palette was comparable to other palettes. Some of the colors were a little light and came off a little patchy in the swatches. I began to apply them to my lids; I am happy with the look I got however I feel like this palette is limited to only certain looks because some of the darker colors didn’t come off as dark as they looked and they blended away as I used them.
I loved the shape of the pans they were shaped like coffins, and the colors were named very iconic names, It opens up like a book to 12 appropriately titled, coffin-shaped shades: Afterlife, Lydia, Shrunken Head, It's Showtime, Juno, Betelgeuse, Bio-Exorcist, Sandworm, Dante's Inferno, Miss Argentina, Darkroom and Strange & Unusual. There is an interior mirror with "Beetlejuice" verbiage and a gravestone and beetle design. This is a very cool palette and if you’re into collectable palettes this is a must have however if your expecting it to be amazing and work well then save your money for something else. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time.

I have always wanted to....

So without further ado here is today's post (that should have been posted on friday). Today's topic is... I have always wanted to... Well to answer this question I would say there are several things I have always wanted to do but most of them I'm to scared to try lol. Such as I think it would be an amazing experience to go surfing and scuba diving. But because I can't swim very well I am to scared to try. My motto is I can only drown once! Lol I know that's not really funny but it's strange how rear can dictate what a person does. I think seeing all the fish and coral would be amazing. I have heard from others that have done it and they said the experience was breathtaking, and that words could not explain it.        Another thing that I would love to do is see all 50 states and I have been to 5 so far but unfortunately that takes money. That's another thing that dictates what people can do. Money i...

Introduction to wilderness series

Hey all welcome back, Today I am wanting to talk about something a little serious, in my area we have been having some earthquake activity. Now we don’t have many noticeable earthquakes here, I am from Utah and we have little ones you know the barely noticeable ones but lately they have been getting stronger. The last one that was recorded that was large for here was 4.1 and it was southern Utah on April 13th. But we are having bigger and bigger ones. So, with that being said I thought it would be a good idea to talk about what to do in an emergency situation. Now being prepared will always be first and foremost the most important thing. A little prep will make things so much better for the future. I posted a poll on twitter asking in a disaster what would be the first thing you would want to do. 1. Make a shelter 2. Gather/finding a clean water source 3. Make a fire 4. Get a food source Now for me the first two things I would probably do is find a water ...
