Challenge #3: TOP 3 HEADLINES FOR JULY, HEADLINE #3

OK guys today will be the last day of Challenge 3, and I got good news I get to return to work, so with that being said I think I will be getting into a blog groove and be posting on Monday Wed, and Friday. Due to my work schedule. Monday will be a what’s on your mind Monday.  Wed will be a We create Wed so I will post tutorials and Friday will be fun Friday which will be a hodgepodge of fun.         OK now on to today’s Headline
Millville woman charged in attempted assisted suicide case
Now I know this can be a touchy subject but I want to know what your opinion is. I feel like this is a huge debate just like abortions. Because what isn’t right for one person isn’t entirely wrong for someone else.
The facts I learned from the article:
  • ·         A 36-year-old woman provided the needed items to a 55-year-old woman to commit suicide
  • ·          The two women were merely acquaintances
  • ·         The police were called to the older woman’s apartment
  • ·         There were pain killers, and canine pain killers all over the woman’s room
  • ·         There were two deceased dogs and the older woman was found with shallow breathing
  • ·         The Police were able to resuscitate the older woman
  • ·         The older woman relayed that she acquired the pills from the younger woman in order to commit suicide
  • ·         The dog had a dark liquid around their mouths
  • ·         Police had the older woman contact the younger woman who then said that she would provide the older women with stronger medication the next time.
  • ·         The younger girl also offered to provide the older woman a gun instead.
  • ·         The younger woman is faced with 3 felony charges as well as animal abuse charges.

OK Now I want to state that the opinions expressed from this point on are my own and not intended to insult or offend anyone. Ok now in this situation it seems as though the older woman may have been depressed and not thinking clearly at the time. And the younger woman may have exploited this for some sick reason. I don’t feel the younger woman should have been encouraging the older lady, the older lady may have just needed someone to talk too. She could have tried to get her help or gave her a number to call if she didn’t want to listen to her.
Now I want to make a disclaimer as with the other article and addiction being a demon, I feel depression is just as bad of a demon and can again make a wonderful person make bad choices. I do feel like depression is a serious illness. I have had battled it myself off and on throughout my life, I have even gotten to the point that I have thought that the world would be better if I wasn’t in it. But I sought out help and I am very grateful that I did because I know have 2 great kids and a husband that loves me. My grandfather used to say If you think about killing yourself give it a day and sleep on it most things look brighter after sleeping on it. I have attached the articles for you to look over and read for yourself.  If you need someone to talk to please talk to someone you trust, there is always someone who will listen. I have also added a hotline just in case you feel like no one you know will listen, please call someone and pass it on.
Well sorry about the dark subject but I feel like this was a good topic to discuss today. Do you feel like the woman was jugde to harshly? Not harshly enough? How do you chase away the blues?
That’s it for today tune in again on Friday when our topic will be: HOW DO I DEFINE PERSONAL GROWTH  and please if you know someone struggling with depression please lend them and ear or give them the number below. Thanks

If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide, call the suicide prevention hotline at 1-800-273-TALK.

I have always wanted to....

So without further ado here is today's post (that should have been posted on friday). Today's topic is... I have always wanted to... Well to answer this question I would say there are several things I have always wanted to do but most of them I'm to scared to try lol. Such as I think it would be an amazing experience to go surfing and scuba diving. But because I can't swim very well I am to scared to try. My motto is I can only drown once! Lol I know that's not really funny but it's strange how rear can dictate what a person does. I think seeing all the fish and coral would be amazing. I have heard from others that have done it and they said the experience was breathtaking, and that words could not explain it.        Another thing that I would love to do is see all 50 states and I have been to 5 so far but unfortunately that takes money. That's another thing that dictates what people can do. Money i...

Handbook for the recently deceased makeup palette

So, I was watching YouTube and I really enjoy watching makeup reviews especially inexpensive make up. I enjoy this because I feel like it’s makeup, that I could maybe buy and use someday. I saw a woman reviewing a very unique palette. Her YouTube name is nerdy girl Makeup. (I will leave the link at the bottom of the post so you can check her out) I just ran across her and started watching because of this palette. I have since subscribed and really enjoy her tutorials and reviews you should check her out. Any way back to the topic at hand. She was reviewing this palette that was based on the beetle juice movie. I am a huge fan of anything Halloween. So, I decided that I needed this palette in my life. So, this journey took me to my local Mall. Because this palette can only be found at Hot Topic in the Mall. Now for any one that knows me knows that I am not the biggest fan of the mall. But I felt I would make an exception to have this palette in my life. So, I went to Hot...

Introduction to wilderness series

Hey all welcome back, Today I am wanting to talk about something a little serious, in my area we have been having some earthquake activity. Now we don’t have many noticeable earthquakes here, I am from Utah and we have little ones you know the barely noticeable ones but lately they have been getting stronger. The last one that was recorded that was large for here was 4.1 and it was southern Utah on April 13th. But we are having bigger and bigger ones. So, with that being said I thought it would be a good idea to talk about what to do in an emergency situation. Now being prepared will always be first and foremost the most important thing. A little prep will make things so much better for the future. I posted a poll on twitter asking in a disaster what would be the first thing you would want to do. 1. Make a shelter 2. Gather/finding a clean water source 3. Make a fire 4. Get a food source Now for me the first two things I would probably do is find a water ...
