OK guys today will be the last day of Challenge 3, and I got good news I get to return to work, so with that being said I think I will be getting into a blog groove and be posting on Monday Wed, and Friday. Due to my work schedule. Monday will be a what’s on your mind Monday. Wed will be a We create Wed so I will post tutorials and Friday will be fun Friday which will be a hodgepodge of fun. OK now on to today’s Headline
Millville woman
charged in attempted assisted suicide case
Now I know this can be a touchy subject but I want to know
what your opinion is. I feel like this is a huge debate just like abortions. Because
what isn’t right for one person isn’t entirely wrong for someone else.
The facts I learned from the article:
- · A 36-year-old woman provided the needed items to a 55-year-old woman to commit suicide
- · The two women were merely acquaintances
- · The police were called to the older woman’s apartment
- · There were pain killers, and canine pain killers all over the woman’s room
- · There were two deceased dogs and the older woman was found with shallow breathing
- · The Police were able to resuscitate the older woman
- · The older woman relayed that she acquired the pills from the younger woman in order to commit suicide
- · The dog had a dark liquid around their mouths
- · Police had the older woman contact the younger woman who then said that she would provide the older women with stronger medication the next time.
- · The younger girl also offered to provide the older woman a gun instead.
- · The younger woman is faced with 3 felony charges as well as animal abuse charges.
OK Now I want to state that the opinions
expressed from this point on are my own and not intended to insult or offend
anyone. Ok now in this situation it seems as though the older woman may have
been depressed and not thinking clearly at the time. And the younger woman may
have exploited this for some sick reason. I don’t feel the younger woman should
have been encouraging the older lady, the older lady may have just needed
someone to talk too. She could have tried to get her help or gave her a number
to call if she didn’t want to listen to her.
Now I want to make a disclaimer as with the
other article and addiction being a demon, I feel depression is just as bad of
a demon and can again make a wonderful person make bad choices. I do feel like
depression is a serious illness. I have had battled it myself off and on
throughout my life, I have even gotten to the point that I have thought that
the world would be better if I wasn’t in it. But I sought out help and I am
very grateful that I did because I know have 2 great kids and a husband that
loves me. My grandfather used to say If you think about killing yourself give
it a day and sleep on it most things look brighter after sleeping on it. I have
attached the articles for you to look over and read for yourself. If you need someone to talk to please talk to
someone you trust, there is always someone who will listen. I have also added a
hotline just in case you feel like no one you know will listen, please call
someone and pass it on.
Well sorry about the dark subject
but I feel like this was a good topic to discuss today. Do you feel like the woman
was jugde to harshly? Not harshly enough? How do you chase away the blues?
That’s it for today tune in again
on Friday when our topic will be: HOW DO
I DEFINE PERSONAL GROWTH and please
if you know someone struggling with depression please lend them and ear or give
them the number below. Thanks
