Lessons I learned this month August editition

Hi everyone this month’s lessons I have learned are… 1. Patients, 2. Persistence, 3. Common sense is not a virtue that everyone gets, 4. Organization.     Ok as for lesson number 1 Patients, This I learned in part because of where I work you need a lot of patients to take care of the individuals that I take care of on a daily basis, and because of my kids and trying to get them to do their homework done. Patients is something that I have needed more and more as I have gotten older and have seemed to run out of.     Lesson number 2 Persistence, I learned this with being given some hard tasks that I was not sure I was going to be able to complete, and it took me a while but persistence paid off and I was able to complete the task,     Lesson number 4 then we will get to lesson 3; Organization this is something I am still learning but I do know that since I have gotten an actual desk at work that I feel that I am more productive and thi...

August Highlights

Hi guys August has been Kind of a crazy month, the kids went back to school which is always a crazy time, Crafty son started his first year of high school, which for him has not been that big of a deal but for me it has been a mix of crazy emotions. I am proud of the man that he is becoming but I want him to stay my little boy just a little longer. I know they don’t stay kids forever but it feels like it wasn’t long enough. He asked tonight if he could go with a group of his friends to a football game on Friday night and of course I want him to have fun but when I look at him all I see is that little guy that would climb up on my lap and drive his hot wheels on the back of the couch making revving noises. Crafty Dad taught Crafty son to shave the other day and I was laughing because I didn’t think he had any facial hair but I was wrong he is a pretty hairy kid it just was really light (of cour...

Gratitude

Well guys I have been sick this week, some crazy stomach bug. So today I felt a little off and grumpy, So I felt like to get my mindset back to normal it was best to think of some things that I am grateful for. I feel that in order to not let day to day life get to you and make you feel worn down its important to look on the more positive side of things, no matter how hard it is to see that ray of light. There is always something to be grateful for you just have to look.  Gratitude is defined literally as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. 1.      I am grateful that I have a job. My job can be difficult at times but I am overall very grateful that I have one. SO many people are still out of work these days. 2.      I am grateful for being healthy, (mostly) I do have a weight issue but after my last physical I am healthier ...
